Play therapy
Babel Fish Psychology loves working with kids through play therapy. Psychology sessions can feel big and scary, so we use play therapy to build rapport and to get into a comfortable space. This then means that through play and craft, we can teach and understand different concepts and learn how to use different coping strategies.
We often draw from concepts from ACT, Sensory informed, and compassion focused.
We are neuroaffirming, which means we plan to tailor sessions to your child's interests and sensory seeking or avoiding needs. We love all brains and ways of thinking!
